Covid-19 Hospitalizations

High case numbers are translating into exponential growth of Covid-19 Patient Populations. Week 94 (magenta bar labeled 1/2) represents a pronounced increase in Central, Gulf Coast, and North Texas per capita Covid-19 Hospitalization (See Figure 1).

To characterize the increase, doubling rates were determined with the data collected by Trauma Service Area. Figure 2 shows the data used to calculate values between 4 (Victoria) and 7 (DFW, Longview) days based on Patient population levels on 12/25/2021.

Vaccination Rates could use a boost in 2022 (See Figure 3). I thought by now, that the Gulf Coast would have exceeded the 70% "Fully Inoculated" Milestone just like the Border who did this back eight weeks ago (See Week 86 Report). Only the Border continues to continue giving shots like they actually intend to get the job done.
